I thought this would be Vesper's first costume, but I see it's currently tagged vesper_noir_(old_design). Why is it "old_design" and "1st_costume" instead of "1st_costume" and "2nd_costume", respectively? Is this more like what happened with IRyS? I guess I can see some reworking of the facial structure, but it didn't look to me to be that drastic a change. Oh well, shows what I know.

Vesper got an entirely new artist. This isn't like IRyS, Aruran or Flare where they got a 2.0 redesign but by the same artist, Vesper now has a new artist from now on since his old artist is apparently too sick to keep working.

That would explain a lot, thank you. I like his new look quite a bit, but I do hope his old artist recovers, regardless.
