Well, I can see how some people might not like the art style. (Personally, I think that and the younger look go pretty well with the child-like attitude Nue is showing in this one.)
But flagging Love Confessions stuff for deletion because of the sparkles is almost as stupid as doing so for the pink background. I don't know if they were there on the original Pixiv post, but they certainly are from the earliest images in the Danbooru pool...
I personally consider the option a "reporting tool" for really shitty contributor posts that bypassed the moderation process - no one is flawless and it happens.
The recent flagging boom mostly just targets random posts that don't fit the flagger's taste for whatever reason, which seems more like an abuse of the function to me.
Don't know about the mods and janitors, but if someone forced *me* to deal with pointless flags for a prolonged period of time, I would probably start to get pissed.
