TBH I never really considered it, I guess it makes sense, as each generation is half as related to you as the one before it is/was, without being any less "descended" from you.

Not quite when you think about it, in some cases girls as young as 11 years of age can get pregnant...9 months and around 11 years...until you get to five generations down it's been atleast only 58 and 3/4 years which would be a 69 year old on an 11 year old. Completely aside from my math yeah you could possibly call that a slutty family and that's still all kinds of awkward

The law would apply much less to superhumans and gods. Especially gods, who tend to intermarry their siblings for lack of any other gods in the world. Adam and Eve and pre-Flood humanity also didn't seem to have a problem until the gene pool was thoroughly narrowed down to just Noah's immediate family.
