There's a picture out there of a real gravure model doing this exact pose next to a pool. I'm pretty sure it was the ref. When I find it again, I'll reply here.

EDIT: found it. It's the 5th pic in this list. The model's name is 溝口恵 (which translates as Megumi Mizoguchi) and frankly I'm jealous of her flexibility.
