MP5 is chambered in 9x19 Para (although the high-pressure +P+ loads), which is appreciated in pistols for its low recoil. Also take in account the higher weight of the weapon => even lower recoil. So no, it will be pretty much okay to shoot it one-handed... of course, that doesn't change the fact she wouldn't be able to hit shit with it.

you know the first time i saw this, i thought it was momiji, but i guess i wasnt paying very close attention to the face or ears to really notice that it was reisen. its pretty badass nonetheless, but i think it woulda been more badass if it were momiji.

Ballistic shield don't protects you from rifle in a close ranger(less than 100m).

It's a polycarbonate riot shield. These are supposed to shield you from rocks and glass bottles, not chunks of lead going at thousands of feet per second. Unless you're playing CoD.

CoD riot shield was overrated... but a riot shield's only ballistic limit was said to be a low velocity handgun round, NOT high grade rifle rounds or SMG's (notice the bullet stoppages?) which she's probably going up against nao.

inb4 she's facing off a .50 caliber MG or something to do THAT to the shield.

There is no indication that this is a parody or reference to Call of Duty on the pixiv page/tags. Removing tag now.

It's most likely a shot from her past and why her ears are different. ...Unless the rabbit who wrote the message could make it real. Then it's extra depressingly contemporary.

To all the "riot shields don't help against bullets". Look at the bullet holes, yes, you're right.

But they help against shrapnel and stray shots that travel slower than directly fired bullets. It does have some use...

She's using the J-variant which was made for Japan's SAT teams as well as some spec ops within the JSDF. The flash hider is a dead giveaway.

I take it this is from Reisen's past, so she'll probably make it out alive

Not sure how her clothes here deviate enough to warrant alternate_costume and contemporary.

I think that message on the shield is a dying message written by one of them, someone who was very close to her, as it's written in blood and that would explain the image description (which sounds like a promise someone would make to someone close them). Makes it even more heart-wrenching because she cared for someone only to not be able to keep from being taken away from her, hence the rage she expresses, the promise she's made, the sadness in her heart, and the drive she has to continue fighting.

See the bloody hand print? Her teammate(s) must bled a serious amount of blood to have a whole hand print with blood. May be they thought they wouldn't be able to make it so they didn't bother to try to escape.
And I think it would be better if the writing was messy instead of print-like like that. That would be more like the hand writing of someone who dying with a lot of pains.
