As the uploader, and a supporter of momisan, I'm of course incredibly biased.
That said, I've been following this artist for over 6 months now, and this artist has works that go back over 3 years. The earliest works from 2020 are rough, to say it politely, but this artist style and "thing" was already very visible. (focus on the torso, clawpose, pov from straight on or slightly below, crotch, and the occasional feet focus)
Over time their art got more refined with more attention going to the finer details in their skin, with great attention to light and how it accentuates curves (the factor that pulled me in personally) This is all before the public release of stable_diffusion even saw the light of day.
Finally, I've contacted the artist about her hand, and their response was:
I'm completely tired I drew another thumb on top of my thumb. thank you for teaching me🙏🙏🙏
which in my opinion makes it nothing more than a simple mistake.
Now of course you can say "The artist must be lying" or "This artist is just trying to hide AI" And if this was an artist that started this year, I would be inclined to agree. But if someone has sufficient backlog with visible progress, then there has to be a point where someone has to give at least a little bit benefit of the doubt.
So immediately branding any simple error as ai-generated is a bit of an overreaction if you ask me. The tag artistic_error (formerly error) has been around for so long that it's legally allowed to drive.
Thank you very much for the info <3 I'll be inclined to go with your opinion and perspective here and trust you on it, I trust anyone who's following an artist that closely and for that long of a while to form an in-depth opinion like that.
