    Exactly, makes me wonder when people started to label her as the summer person when there is no definitive summer youkai in Gensokyou.

    I'm guessing sometime after Minoriko and Shizuha arrived. Now that three seasons had their own youkai, Yuukarin was assigned to Summer in fanon because she was the best fit.

    Assigning her as summer is a demotion. I've seen Suika labled as summer sometimes since watermelons and parties are summer associated. And Yuka is master of the 4 seasons. Yuka should be reigning over the other 4 seasons. She should have more of a delegatory role while the 4 seasonal youkai actually do stuff.
