Isn't it implied in the HH books that the Emperor actively uses his psychic powers to glam himself up? I think I read something like that somewhere. Personally, I think it's a bit counterproductive to make one's self look like a 9-foot linebacker supermodel if one doesn't want to be worshipped, but I'm not a 40,000-year old (at the time of the HH) narcissistic Reddit atheist of a horrible father, so what do I know?
Also, that is one heck of an exploitable blank space...
