Oh, is Byakuren talking about Myouren?
    Did she meet him here?

The Shigisan Engi, the picture scroll the historical Myouren's story is mostly known through, features a story where the monk Myouren's elder sister walks across the country to find him after not seeing him for 20 years (guided by a purple cloud). I.e. the very story Byakuren is (very loosely) based on is about their reunion, but one that took place before he died and she became a youkai.

It's a common case, isn't it? I knew a monk would be an expert.
No, no. I just have a memory of being left behind as well...
Ohh? We have something in common.
I managed to catch up to them later, but...
    That aside...
That sounds nice. Maybe I should've gone after them as well?
You seem more like the sort of person who leaves.
    Not sure what that means.
This person also wanted to seclude themselves from the world, didn't they? There may be times when chasing after someone isn't the right decision either.
    Hehe...
