This is hilarious!

Because its not a Zelda parody.

Just another parody of the fable about the woodcutter and his axes, no Zelda references at all.

My bad, the idea of dropping something into water and getting an improved one reminded me of that Zelda scene, but I never knew about that fable before.

You should also know that this is done in .hack as well.

Komachi's poses in the last panel, there is supposed to be a tag about it but I forgot what it's called.

....After searching for a bit, there's a tag referencing these pose which is haou_airen....which is a shoujo manga which became a source for many japanese meme.
