Thank you for playing PSO2 and PSO2 NEW GENESIS ver.2 (NGS ver.2) over the past year.
We appreciate your commitment to the game and your fellow ARKS.

In 2023, we celebrated the 2nd anniversary of NGS and took a significant leap forward with the release of NGS ver.2.

In April, the pivotal Main Story Chapter 5 was released along with the new Slayer class, which continues to be enjoyed by many players. In June, we performed a major update to NGS ver.2, including the new Creative Space as well as a Cel Shading feature, both of which were met with enthusiasm from ARKS.

Our Creative Space Contest in September received an outpouring of innovative and wonderful works that were beyond what we had dreamed.
We are both amazed and greatly encouraged by your works and will use them as motivation for future development.
The winning entries are scheduled to be featured in Official Creative Space. We kindly ask for your patience as we await the announcement of the results.

While there were a lot of positives this year, we also recognize that there were issues in terms of game balance, particularly regarding the high entry barriers and rewards for high-difficulty content.
We apologize again for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
After reviewing these issues, since October 2023 we have taken steps to make it easier to increase Battle Power and have revised our approach to determining rewards.
We will continue to work on improvements to provide a more enjoyable gaming environment for all our users.

From December until the start of scheduled maintenance on January 31, we are holding a 2.5th Anniversary event, the Super Genesis Festival, as a token of our gratitude to all ARKS. This event features a series of phabulous campaigns to show our appreciation. To ensure that both new players and returning players can enjoy the game, we have adjusted the game balance in addition to implementing these campaigns. Whether you are a new player or someone who has been on a break, we encourage you to take this opportunity to play NGS ver.2.

Thanks to all of you ARKS, this year we will celebrate the 3rd anniversary of NGS and the 12th anniversary of PSO2.
We have plans to deliver content in the first half of 2024 according to the roadmap we announced on the December 26th broadcast of NGS Headline.
We are diligently developing new fields and action content that is scheduled to be released this summer, so stay tuned.
All our team members will make every effort to ensure that everyone continues to enjoy the game.
