Well... it is a 'Tag what you see' rule around here, but you can't really see any suicide.
If Yuyuko DID hang herself(god forbid) I'm pretty sure Yukari would have a more shocked or depressed expression on her face. I think she's just floating.

Agree. Yuyuko is one of the best friend of Yukari when she was alive (and I bet it's one hell of a job for Yukari to recover such relation with Yuyuko when she became ghost and lose her memories)
That expression we see in this image just least likely to happen if Yuyuko hung herself in front of Yukari.
Did Yuyuko committed suicide in canon? I thought the information on her death was vague. Some artists even made a story how Yuyuko was sacrificed by her family to seal Saigyou Ayakashi.

Ehh.... I can't remember myself right off the bat. I personally like the side of her killing herself to prevent more death form her power.

Thats also one of the other popular fan theories seen in Doujins. Sometimes i've read a combination of fearing her own power as well as sealing the Cherry blossom tree to prevent even further deaths as a "2 birds with 1 stone" reasoning. Sometimes with her family even trying to stop her.

Yes, she did. Don't expect doujin artists to blindly follow canon... for example, as much as I loved Tonari Atte Futari, Mukai Atte Sannin, it was only vaguely canon-based. Canonically, as Yuyuko's powers grew stronger, she became terrified by them and they eventually drove her to suicide. The canon is only uncertain about the question whether she intentionally sealed Saigyou Ayakashi as well, or whether it was a convenient but unintentional side effect.
