I have run into images that have been similarly resized to exactly 800x800 a number of times, but I don't know where they are coming from. Could someone please tell me why that particular size is so important to some people? A Google search for "800x800 resize" indicated that the reason might be that it is imposed automatically by some hosting providers. Is that the whole story?
I've been doing a bit better. Though I don't understand why I went down from like 4-5 post limits to 3. I know I didn't get another message saying my record went down. Though to be honest, I would have hoped my rating could have gone up a little, I mean I haven't posted any scat, and from what I've alot of my post have been getting accepted more often now. I can understand this got bombed largely because of the fubared ratio (the original certainly is of better quality).
Hmm. I sometimes can never understand how people don't like the character's proportions in one picture (even when they're not that bad), but then favor a picture where the girl is almost impossibly built (like an overly long body, etc) just because the detail or color is "better". Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to bitch or anything, it's just a little confusing with the conflicting senses of 'quality'.
