So what happens to her skin after the eggs have finished hatching? Does the holes remain there? Do new eggs emerge there until they hatch again or does the skin patch itself up and cover the holes? It's been on my mind for a while now...

In real Surinam toads, the eggs are covered by an additional layer of skin, which is shed away once the babies have all emerged. So it's not actually holes in their body, it's more like a skin blanket over the real skin, which comes off once the toads leave.
