Is Rin lefthanded or just holding the cutlery wrong?

I'm righthanded and I hold the fork with the right (don't ask me why).

Hmmm....Maybe because, in my opinion, it's easier to hold the fork with the right since the fork is going to hold the food and also bring it to my mouth.

When dealing with meat, you cut with your knife in the right hand, and hold it down with your fork in the left.

When you're lefthanded you tend to do things differently.
