Word would get around somehow of the Kirisame girl turning herself into a youkai and being let off by the shrine maiden, Outcome: Marisa gets pichuu~n'd — probably by Reimu, and also probably on Yukari's orders. Gotta keep the balance and all that.

No. Fortune teller died, resurrected as a youkai, told reimu he was gonna peacefully live alone away from humanity and reimu still killed him. Doesn't matter if you lived in the human village or not, reimu has to kill you since you broke gensokyos balance.
Edit: my reading comprehension skills need work. Reimu would know so there wouldn't be anyway for Marisa to hide her youkai status.
