While I'm hoping it is a different couple (if just so there isn't either a "he died in battle afterward" or "he's still alive and waiting/searching for her but she's now with the former enemy"), you can't fully rely on the hairstyle since on the deserted island... or war in general... there isn't as much of a chance to properly style/wash it regularly.

The above image depicts both in and out of war scenario.

And if you compare it to the other girl other than the hair there's some subtle differences with how their drawn.

With the hair being the most notable one this one is more straight-laced while the other is somewhat messy.

I'll take your word as gospel. this is different couple. simply because I hate to imagine if this girl is actually the same one.

This is not part of that "Life on a Deserted Island with an Enemy Female Soldier" series. On pixiv it is not listed as part 11, which it would be, nor is it part of the table of contents of that series. As such I've removed it from that pool. It's probably the same war, but it's not the same couple.
