I think the joke is simply that Diogenes made Plato look like a fool with his "featherless biped" in literal seconds.
Diogenes "The Dog" is legendary for being a smelly unwashed hobo who absolutely ripped apart other philosophers' arguments. Centurii captured his essence perfectly. I want philosopher 2-koma now!
Until then, I only knew about him as that one guy who lived in a jar.

As for people wanting to fix Diogene-chan, we are talking about an individual who was recorded as pooping in public places, pissed over the face of someone who once beat him like a dog, rubbing his cucumber for everyone to see, told Alexander the Great to F off cuz the lad was blocking the sun, etc...
And yet still lived to eventually die at age 88/90.
Also he had disciples. Men & at least one women. And those did... What would Diogene do if he had a girl....
