Sounds cool, though the main issue I have with a Dissidia sequel is that the protagonists have the same enemy so how exactly will that work?

Certain characters wouldn't have this problem I suppose, Vincent, Laguna, Yuna/Auron any 10 character really lol. Idk guess well see.

That may possibly have something to do with Kain's own situation in FF4 - he was mind-controlled by Golbez into doing his bidding, even as Golbez himself was being manipulated by Zemus. Throughout The After Years Kain was trying to atone for what he did under Golbez's influence, even as a physical manifestation of his past as Golbez's pawn began to haunt him.
