Artist's commentary
While practicing Dimitri's face, I thought about what was going on under his eyepatch.
1. Scarred + artificial eye (can't follow the gaze because it's an artificial eye)
2. Damaged + Eyeball is missing and hollow, flesh inside is swollen
3. Damaged + vision lost but eyeball still intact
4. Scars removed + eyeballs missing. Which one do you like best?
