Take a closer look at the hilt of her knife and the centre of her cap as well - while they aren't the Iron Eagle proper, they are a bird, with wings outstretched in the same pose, stamped in iron.
I think the "Nazi" in this image is pretty overpowering.

Closet Nazi =/= Nazi. I think that's fairly easy to comprehend.
So what? It's the same thing. The design is ellegant and neat, that's why artists usually choose to depict / plagiarize it. Yeah, it's associated with a racial supremacist ideology with millions of dead in its wake, but that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the incentive. Fighting the ideology by labeling anyone who is honest enough (read: stupid enough) to admit he likes the design a nazi sympathizer is just as mistaken and contraproductive as fighting holocaust denial with censorship instead of historical facts.

I've been accused of being a closet nazi countless times by ignorant people for collecting WWII weapons and militaria, and I'm already quite sick of it. And it won't get better until people stop seeing the non-existent imperative correlation between an ideology and the historical items that used to represent it at some point. Hell, I own both Russian and German WWII militaria, am I a communist or a nazi? Or both? Tell me.
Oh, I don't have anything AGAINST the clothes Nazi wore - Hugo Boss know how to make them look snappy. I just call what I see what it is. She looks like a Nazi so I joked about it - deal with it.
And if you're tired of pointless accusation then why you not only do them yourself but also insult others ? Because right now rather than nazi or communist you act like a douchebag that doesn't allow other people to even joke about something because he's oversensitive and defensive because of his own persecution issue - and I don't think that's a pointless accusation since you just confirmed that yourself.
I think it's awesome. The gun is neat & Saya looks charming, elegant, & sexy. If it's stupid of me to say so just because some may automatically attribute a uniform to Nazism as a whole...oh well? ^_^;
