Mitsubishi J8M Shuusui was a Japan-made rocket fighter which was designed using plans for the Me 163 delivered from Germany via submarine.
Though it was substantially a copy of the Me 163, it was an incomplete copy since the submarine carrying the plans was sunk in the sea off Singapore. The shape of the canopy, the outline of the nose and the inner structure somewhat differed from the Me 163 on which it was based.
It adopted the merits of the Me 163 while canceling out its demerits, and its development included several pioneering moments such as cooperation between the Imperial Army and Navy, collaboration between a private manufacturer and state institutions and the participation of the first Japanese female researcher.
Ultimately the test of the first prototype ended in failure and an emergency landing, leaving the prototype with heavy damage.
However, there were many doubts left about the supposed 15-minute burning duration of the rocket engine.

    lol

    Wikipedia:

At an altitude of 400 m (1,300 ft), the engine stopped abruptly and the J8M1 stalled. Inuzuka managed to glide the aircraft back, but clipped a small building at the edge of the airfield while trying to land, causing the aircraft to burst into flames. Inuzuka died the next day.

Even that seems questionable to me. If your rocket fuel merely "bursts into flames", it's shitty, low-test rocket fuel. You want that shit to explode; T-Stoff and C-Stoff did not fuck around in this regard.
