Despite the lower resolution, this version here has clearly more advanced shading etc.
It's not like this is an egregious reduction in resolution either where it's suddenly 75% smaller or so.
So, no parent warring please.

waifu2x does a nice job removing jpeg artifacts if it's set to no upscale/noise 2. Most image boards do not allow modifications, but it's something the user can do once it's downloaded.
