I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this, but I'm gonna be honest. One has a massive chronic health condition that’s irreversible, severely limits her lifespan and she will dissociate and fade away one day, while the other one can live for centuries, but can't reproduce naturally apparently they hatch from eggs and are incarnated, dear god. But I don’t know if that applies to mixed-race ones too.

You're in a game that makes a point of being vaguely similar to surrealist art and your logic doesn't fit within the broader scope of things even without bringing that up. Next thing you could have would be nothing but elephants in suits with sunglasses and berets, riding bicycles on a road made up of clouds, while each of them holds a different colored balloon and plays on a flute or a trumpet, while human bones play on drum instruments down below, and it would make perfect sense. It's just that game makes a point of these parts being separate from the default soulless cold monetized reality put right on top like a concrete plate on top of a microcosm full of life, sense and meaning, with you left wondering that if something manages to grow through it, then it wasn't necessarily intended. And if it was, we already seen that without thinking there's some great symbolism in this that's ultimately more similar to Sisyphus pushing a stone.
