Guilty Gear throws weird names, weird characters, weird clothes, and weird weapons into a weird world, then turns on the blender. For any Japanese looking at a setting like that, adding ko to the end of genderswaps' names is a welcome convenience.

Well, most genderswaps in japan usually add something like -ko or -me at the end of the name if they can't come up with something clever in the name.
