Each time a new threat appears in Gensokyo, the shadow of a steel giant stretches out across the land to greet it.

The mountains were ablaze as all the people fled in terror, praying for the arrival of their colossal savior. Gensokyo was on the brink of annihilation… Then suddenly, the ground began to shake under the weight of giant steel footsteps.

In an instant, the crowd erupted with joy. “I-It’s the legendary Hisoutensoku!” “We’re saved!” “Our prayers have been answered!”

This is the story of a giant robot, the young girl who controls it, and their legendary battles. It’s title, “Century’s End Wind Priestess: Fists of Steel!”

During times of peace, Sanae Kochiya spends her days as a wind priestess. But when duty calls, she becomes the savior of Gensokyo, using her giant robot, Hisoutensoku, to defend the land! When her and her robot’s lust for justice and fighting spirits combine, they release a deadly attack powerful enough to vanquish any evil!
…Huh? What’s the name of that attack, you ask? Well, the thing is, there have been quite a few good suggestions, so they’ve been having trouble narrowing it down! If you’ve got a cool idea, please let them know!

The sight of Sanae’s giant robot appearing on the horizon is nothing short of a miracle. If only you could’ve seen it with your own eyes. Behind it lay the city it was tasked with protecting and a sunset redder than the fiercest of blazes!

What could possibly look more miraculous than that?! It was a collage of justice, divinity, and poetry! It’s so intense! More intense than the heat of a fusion reactor! …Maybe!

The girl of miracles, Sanae Kochiya, stood atop her robot’s open palm. They marched toward their great foe, knowing their victory was key to Gensokyo’s survival!

Tis the Season for Family
Robots are cool. The way they fight for peace, the details on their weapons, the sleekness of their designs… The reasons people love them are vast and varied. And, of course, Sanae loves them too.

Model robots are popular, too, with a wide variety available. Some you have to build yourself, while others come pre-made. Some you even have to paint yourself! You can buy a model robot from your favorite era of a show or the one with the most on-screen appearances. Then there are people who follow a specific model designer and buy all of their designs! We could go on and on, but the point is, there’s a lot more to the world of model robots than meets the eye!

It was a normal day in Gensokyo. Naturally, there wasn’t a robot in sight as Sanae went about cleaning Moriya Shrine.

Kanako must have heard Sanae’s heavy sigh because she came over to ask what the matter was.
“Oh, it’s nothing,” replied Sanae.

After she finished cleaning, she raised her fist and shouted, “I’m gonna give today my all!” In her hand, she clutched a model that looked strikingly similar to a certain peace-defending robot!

“A giant robot, huh?” murmured Suwako as a playful grin spread across her face…

“Next time! Hisoutensoku is reborn again and ready to–”
