To be fair, the server was dying, as in physically dying. Unless you're okay just having fun in the Burbank sector and then the universe exploding randomly. I guess that'll be like living in the Matrix and then someone pulling the plug.
But yea, no worrying about food shortage or radiation. They honestly had the tech to make a Matrix for humanity to live in. Then Dolls could work on detoxing the planet in place of human.
