So far, the new pictures in pixiv about the new game involves Youmu, team Protagonists, Mima, Sakuya jealously picking on Youmu and those weird colored spirit thingies.

In my opinion, ZUN thought, that Sakuya already got enough attention through "Touhouvania". But I´m surprised, that no one of the last game characters is playable...

Even as she just became 2nd in popularity, it's just not enough...

She got enough popularity from the Touhouvania games. I wouldn't be surprised in fact if future Touhouvania games kept her as the main character instead of the main series.

I´ve always wondered why cannot Keine be playable if she is half-human? (´Cause I don´t wanna play as Rinnosuke). Then again, maybe Youmu is MORE human since that´s a human ghost half...I don´t know anymore, I´m just happy for her.

Those two aren't eligible. Only stage 5 bosses can be playable characters.
