The weapon is a slightly stylized, oddly bare-bones FN SCAR-L, aka Mk 16. I say "oddly bare-bones" because in the wild, they virtually always have at least an optic mounted, if not a flashlight, laser, camp stove, satellite uplink dish, portable weather station, rubber chicken, and anything else the soldier can cram onto the rifle's 44 acres of accessory rails (some of which are missing in this rendering). :)
