So to clarify: Youmu-kun is the artist's avatar, and he's in all likelihood (not sure if it's ever outright stated) a guy. Incidentally, Youmu's ghost half (Ghost-Half-chan) also happens to —somehow— be a guy as well in Youmu-kun's canon.
