Several Pixiv comments cast Yuuka as the spoiling aunt/grandma and Daiyousei as the strict mother, so the intended effect seems to have succeeded. (One comment labels Yuuka a "Mega-S", where the S stands for "sponsor" instead of "sadist".)
Oh, and one person mentions Dai's sleeves, but the author hasn't responded yet.
In the last panel Daiyousei suddenly has long sleeves.
Just think about it: *Yuuka could make a killing in the food and flower trade (anything that flowers is under her control). *Given Yuuka's age she must know how to handle money in some way or another. *She has her own dimension with a gigantic mansion (on the edge of dreams and reality).
She could be the richest of all the Touhou characters.
It's probably gotten to the point where the kappa are so widespread it's too hard to find unique personalities for each one. So, "kapaa~" is being used as more of a background noise around them. Think of them as being borderline mute, relying on body motions to communicate.
You know...I like bigger Daiyousei. Her name means "Great Fairy" and she's rather large in-game. To be honest, this is the first time anyone has taken a literal approach on her name.
