tried that even before i got into anime and then my sister just had to show me FMA and gundam seed. from then on my life has been one slow moe-filled spiral to becoming a hermit that lives on noodles and pocky
The most near to this that i have ever been is eating while watching anime even as a kid i used to watch DB in the tv while having the meal with my family (no one takes away DB from a kid lol)
While we're throwin' around stories of our childhood, I remember I would rush home from elementary school every day so I could watch Sailor Moon and DBZ. To my prepubescent mind, it was the coolest thing ever. And I had the hugest crush on Tuxedo Mask... Though I only realized later that Tuxedo Mask did absolutely f***ing nothing. He was just there to throw roses at walls, say a few words, and stand there and look pretty.
But those two shows gave me something a kid my age didn't get often: A cohesive plot. Every other kid's show at the time was just random mis-adventures, like The Smurfs. My childhood mind didn't quite "get" the significance of plot, but I know one thing: I wanted more.
So I guess what I'm saying is that I was born to be an anime fan. Even in my childhood, I was attracted to the stuff.
