Only thing really is Reisen's subplot of trying to find Kaguya's hourai Branch, as seen in post #858405 and post #918196
aside from that, ya, really nothing else.

I do hope I see more of his comics like this. The drawing style is so simple but so sweet and interesting.

In fact I really wish to see him do another comic with another character, like maybe Kogasa or any of the characters from UFO.

It takes some serious skill to make figures this simple (I'd say they're even beneath being called "doodles") convey so much emotion.
I can't really pin point what it is, but there is something about these stories that truly gets me. Perhaps it's the lack of detail and backgrounds that makes one pay more attention to the slightest of details.
But I would have to respectfully disagree with Keo. With the UN group being my favorite characters, I wish the artist stayed with them...at least for a little longer. :)

On a side note, and for other reasons, I also love dora e's jolly drawings in the style of hounori. It's almost hard to believe they're by the same person.

Once again, my most sincere appreciation for the translator's work. Your ordeals do not fall in ungrateful eyes.

It's a common misconception that more complex means harder. That can be the case but often it is not. Something that is complex had hide or cover flaws, up to a point. Something that is simple can not so everything has to be executed perfectly.

That holds true of a lot of things and telling stories like this one is no different. It's a thin line between something simple and something poor in quality and this story is the perfect example of simplicity executed to perfection.

This Mokou's comprehension capabilities draw an unhappy paraller with Mitsumokou's. Oh well.

Also it looks like it's done in Adobe Illustrator, a program with an incredible learning curve. Making anything in Illustrator is a challenge no matter how simple it looks.
