    Oh that guy is FUUUUUCKED! I remember from playing that the Chryssalids were easily the most evil of the melee-type enemies. They'd close in on your troops and infect them with an egg, turning them into a zombie and two turns (or 150 damage) later they turned into another Chryssalid. I always hated doing Snakeman bases as a result.

    That's why you shoot down Snakeman ships above the ocean and systematically rape every yard of the map with Blaster launchers if you can't avoid fighting them on the ground.
    Or you could, like, use flying suits and hovertanks.

    That was always my way of dealing w/ them, but bases made it a little harder because it was difficult to get to the high ground to avoid them.
