Alice and Patchy timed how long normal kappa working at TOP GAME could exert themselves within the barrier(six minutes), they decided to over charge Nitori so she could last longer, or burn her energy faster to boost her abilities for a fast win.

Huh. Though Reimu isn't really doing anything other than being tossed aside all the time...

I kinda want to see her doing something else in this fight other than being thrown.

I think she knows that all four of her opponents have stamina issues so she's pacing herself to let them overexert themselves.

Nitori's tossing around may have given Reimy a slight concussion so she can't stand up. So I'm guessing Remilia will be tagging in soon.

For some reason, which I cannot describe, I love Patchy's expression.

this fight is looking a bit like a King of Fighters' comics (probably the 2000 one) where Nitori is Ramon ("once she gets in, she deals damage"-type) and Reimu is Maxima (insane hp) :O

(Before translation) Wait, it looks like Patchouli is doing something to Marisa. Weren't the abilities she learned with Mima only like the shrine maidens? If that's true then how is she using this on Marisa? Perhaps she's boosting Marisa's abilities? It would still technically count as being within a persons body I guess...

If I had to guess, I'd say Patchy is cooling Marisa down a touch using her ice spells.

Seems Nitori's grapples finally did something, Reimu's suddenly noticed that she(Reimu) can't stand up.

my best guess, Marisa, being human, probably doesn't have much magic in her, while alice and patchouli are both magician yokai, who have lots inside of them, or atleast understand how to use their magic more efficiently.

Because of the method of Marisa's power boost, i'm betting she's burning through her magic power at an insane speed and alice and patchy are protecting her/giving her their magic power so she can enter the ring again, while nitori is just stalling for time.

I'd say she gave Reimu some description of wedgie.

I think that's Marisa's team's strategy: Go aggro and not let Reimu retaliate. The moment Reimu can do anything, they lose.

Well, have to say that the witch team really thought a lot regarding strategy. They knew they will have trouble damaging the shrine maiden's barrier, so they exploit her other weakness of being a human...

I think it's time for Reimu to get Remi into battle and rethink what the hell they are doing.

So they're constantly throwing her in order to disrupt her sense of balance. Not bad but I get the feeling they'll need more than one person to pin her even if she couldn't stand up at all.

The phrasing makes it sound like they're trying to inflict brain damage on Reimu.

After re-reading this, I'm quite relieved. I thought at first that Nitori was pushing herself so hard that she was starting to make herself bleed (Her nosebleed) But after re-reading it I see it's just that Reimu got some hits in too.

Speaking of which, Marisa really went overboard. I wonder how long it'll take for her to catch herself?
