    *Never* ever say that to a depressed person. No, Reimu, you don't. You really don't. Unless you've ever tried to kill yourself by jumping from a waterfall, you have no idea what it feels like.

    It's a well-meaning thing to say, but it won't comfort them at all. It'll just hurt them even more.

    Exactly, never try the "I understand" route of approach to someone who already tried to kill himself..
