I also have to wonder, how did the gang not see or know what Byleth and Edelgard were up to? Was their relationship secret to the point where the fact that they'd be shagging would be unknown? Did the gang sneak into Edelgard's room at dawn and throw back the curtain, not expecting to see a husband and wife doing husband and wife things (i.e. each other)? And why is Petra so okay with all this?
