Because all Speed comp was meta for like 1 or 2 days after the scenario release. ...until Cygames released a patch to buff other card types because they can't ruin Trainers' wallets with Support cards gacha if Speed cards are all that is used

As opposed to just wanting players to have more options? Pure greed would be suspected if usage of other types were forced without buffing them but I would call buffs across the board a balance move instead of a greed move.
