Jeane (ジーン) is a recurring character in the Gensou Suikoden series, having appeared in every game except the alternate universe Gensou Suikoden Tierkreis. She usually serves multiple roles once recruited, including magic rune merchant, army unit commander, and playable party member. In addition, she is usually the most prominent (but never the sole) provider of fan service in the series, making her a fan favorite.
Gensou Suikoden V intimates that Jeane is thousands or even tens of thousands of years old, making her likely the oldest character in the series, True Runes excepted. How she accomplishes this, as well as detail about her personal history and motivations, is unknown.
