KARASAWA KRSW カラサワ KRSV カラサヴァ

An energy gun from the Armored Core series. Typically one of the most powerful weapons in the games it appears in. Generally its shape bears a strong resemblance to the positron cannon from Neon Genesis Evangelion, which predates the first Armored Core game by 2 years.

Its name varies depending on the generation:

• Armored Core 2: KARASAWA-MK2
• Armored Core 3: MWG-KARASAWA
• Armored Core: Nexus: WH04HL-KRSW
• Armored Core 4: HLR01-CANOPUS
• Armored Core V: LR-81 Karasawa (stronger variant) / LR-81M KRSW (closer to original)
• Armored Core: Verdict Day: Au-L-K29 / Au-L-K37 / X00 KARASAWA (direct successor to LR-81)
• Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon: 44-142 KRSV
• It transforms into the Karasawa shape by charging energy. Nicknamed カラサヴァ (Karasava) due to its name.
