He is the mysterious -and always starving- most recent newtype pilot of the legendary Red Gundammobile suit (to which he has some kind of Newtype bond). Disappeared with the Red Gundam during a mini-Zeknova event. His pet robot Conch was adopted by Nyaan afterwards. Reappears in the final episodes of the series, where Ito himself reveals that he is actually from an alternate universe.
