Japanese animation studio. Originally owned by Production IG, XEBEC was often considered a rival to Sunrise for their output of science fiction and mecha series.
In 2019, the studio was acquired by Sunrise and ceased operations. Its address and remaining assets were reorganized into a new studio called Sunrise Beyond, with their first production after the acquisition being Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise. The rights to their previous productions remained with Production IG.
