gorosei
The Gorosei, or the Five Elders, are the group of five elite Celestial Dragons who co-ruled the World Government. As such, they served as the overarching main antagonists of the One Piece series.
Each member posses an extremely powerful Mythical Devil Fruit that allows them to transform into a gigantic monsters. In addition, they are practically immortal, as they are capable of regenerating even when their body were shattered to pieces.
In reality, they are serving under the secretive supreme ruler of the World Government Imu, who granted them immortality. They acts as the "public" face of their authority.
