A type coffee from Indonesia made from coffee beans that were eaten and defecated by Asian palm civets. While fans of kopi luwak claim the coffee has a unique taste due to being fermented in the Civet's intestines, others argue the coffee is nothing more than a gimmick and just taste bad, especially since it was made from coffee beans that were pooped by a animal. Not helping the coffee's reputation is it's expensive price and criticism of farmers caging and forcing Civets to eat the coffee beans.
