mechanical buddy universe

Post-apocalyptic science fiction setting by Kato Takuji (AKA Ishiyumi). Most stories in the setting generally involve a human paired off with a sapient robot character as their primary protagonists.

Four main stories are set in this universe:

• The Story of a Droid
• Hawkeye in Love
• The Banshee Cometh
• Maid Would Want to Protect Her Lady

In addition there are the side stories The Story of an Manga Artist, and Apparition which technically takes place in the same universe.

Currently serialized by Square Enix as Mechanical Buddy Universe 1.0.
