A casting mold (also spelled mould) is a hollowed-out container that is used to create specifically shaped object in the field of cooking and industrial crafts like metalworking and glass-making. By pouring the liquid or pliable material into the mold, the material will solidified into the desired object to be removed from the mold and further processed.
