If I'm reading all of this correctly, Ran is messing with the length of the gap between them, shortening it by a month each time. So two months for Nitori would work out to minutes or hours in the present.
Thats not how I read it, though I could be very wrong XD I thought she got tossed back in time 1000 years ago to what is considered the outside world. If that's the case, she could simply came out at a different time then everyone in the current one.
