Funny thing is... it won't allow me.

Edit: Ah, found the answer. One of those default pictures was corrupted and stopped me from changing.

excuse me while I barf all over everything

Load the pic in any decent image viewer. Resize it to your screen height, then set the background colour to black and change the canvas size to whatever your screen res is (being sure to anchor it to the side)

Stretching will make it look horrible.
