Isokaze CG has been announced since before the update, at the same time they announced we'd be fishing for Saury. Many people put 2 and 2 together, thus a lot of people foresaw her messing things up in the kitchen.

This pic actually done at May, the artist just happen to retweet back this pic some days ago and I saw this hasn't been uploaded. So technically this one indeed Hilarious in Hindsight.

I'm not sure it fits anyway. Isokaze grilling fish isn't new. It's also mentioned in her hourlies. The CG is just expanding on that particular line, much like the fanart.
