She is called 'Reisen' all the time on earth, what makes it different? Perhaps the way the name is spoken? (Notice the katakana)

She's called Udonge by Eirin, and Inaba by Kaguya, iirc. I don't remember what other people refer to her by though. I thought Tewi at least would call her Reisen...

She's called Reisen(鈴仙) on Earth. Theoretically there'd be no real difference in how the name is pronounced, though. There's another Reisen (レイセン) on the Moon now who showed up in SSiB as (Earth) Reisen's replacement for the Mary Sue Sisters.

If you want to go DEEP, there's a few possible implications. Old fan theories were basically that the Lunarians thought of the rabbits as stupid and incapable of using kanji, or that they simply didn't care about them enough to give them proper names, particularly since "Reisen" can be translated as 'zero fighter' (like the plane, or possibly a rank/number.) Of course, those theories become a bit more difficult with Ringo and Seiran around, but fan theories persist :P

Well, ZUN himself said moon rabbits' names are just like pets' names with no meaning behind them. Because they are really just pets for the lunarians after all. Heck, Reisen herself (earth) is basically Eirin's experiment on how impurity affects moon beings.
